I am not a nationalism....or Racism..... in fact, i cant be .....
people look at the pic, who is the ''naughty'' boy opening his arms and possing victory??? Our brother Marat!!!!!!!!! yuppp.....
and the man with silver hair? Russia prisident grandpa Boris Yelstin.....Dont know if all russians thank Boris that he did promote Russian sports, especially tennis.... Back USSR time, their sports were in unbeaten, but sadly tennis wasnt a major sports ...i guess that's why Marat, Dima, Igor etc all went overseas... say Spain or US for training.... but never the less, the whole world has to re-look at Russian tennis (both man and woman) in a new angle!Russia produces heaps of great players...the best would be our Marat--for sure...
Having won the Davis cup in 2002, Marat had great contributation.... Look, they were so happy and celebrating...... yup............
What a beautiful moment, 22 yrs old Safin... great hero in Russian tennis history........ How exciting is that! he looks extra sexy....
I am not trying to be communist or patrotic... but even Marat admits that playing for his own country is the 1st thing to come....
sometime, when he plays ATP, he was remembered as MARAT SAFIN --an individula and his legancy.... but at Davis cup, he was remembered as RUSSIAN HERO!
He must be very very excited in a touchy way when he was handed over the Davis cup, listening national athem and watch tri-colored Russian flag raising, feeling the hot air in the stadium...... cheering for him......toasting with Vodka....i should be one of his greatest memory in his life....
Remember the day i heard Russia wins DC 2002, my blood was boiling in a sweet way, i never felt i was so Russian.... by watching DC live together with my Grandparents, Parents, brother, brother's wife and their kids and my bf , all of all eyes were filled with tears..... a joyful tears..... what a wonderful moment... A dream for 4 generations.... love ya
maybe 50 yrs later.... i could tell my grandchildren that great moment...............

It is a heroic moment.... a moment ppl will never forget.... he is not only remember as Marat Safin but also Marat Safin de RUssian Hero....
it is the highest stage to repersent ur own country (hope i dont sounds too communist), to be selected and brings great achievment for ur country and remember as a hero................Marat did it...when he was only 22............
